A Memorable Experience of the Best Sights in the City

Hidden Venice

Exploring Venice

Spending a day in Venice can be  a great opportunity to get an overview of this fantastic city. It will leave you with the desire to come back for a longer stay. Just relax and enjoy yourself while we take care of the details/plans/arrangements!

We will meet where it is most convenient for you, and start our exploration with a pleasant stroll off-the-beaten track. You will walk across bridges, alongside canals, and through a maze of narrow alleyways, discovering the city’s peculiar urban structure. Learning the key historical events that contributed to transform the city into one of the most powerful maritime republics will be just fun. You will surely love the colours and bustle of the Rialto market, once the thriving commercial centre, and the Grand Canal seen from the Rialto Bridge.

A day in Venice also means to find some time to taste the Venetian cuisine in a local ‘trattoria’. After lunch, the afternoon tour will focus on Piazza San Marco. This extraordinary square was designed to house the political centre of Venice. It was also the social heart of the city, the piazza where all the great events were hosted.

Saint Mark's Square

Saint Mark’s Square

Here you will admire the mostimpressive buildings in Venice, such as the Ducal Palace, the former seat of government, and the magnificent church dedicated to Saint Mark the Evangelist, decorated with golden mosaics and precious oriental marbles.  Finally, to conclude your day on a high note, a ride on a gondola or a private water-taxi to enjoy the city from a completely different perspective.
