St. Mark’s Square was for centuries long the political centre of the Republic of Venice, one of the most powerful maritime states in the Mediterranean sea. Our tour will help you to discover and appreciate this magnificent square, to enjoy the golden mosaics and wonderfully coloured marble slabs of St. Mark’s Church, to admire and understand the elegant and slender architectural feat of the Doge’s Palace.
